Startup Costs and Fees⁴

Let’s get started with some important numbers. The estimated initial investment for a single Firehouse Subs® Restaurant ranges from $379,650 to $795,600 for In-line Traditional Restaurants; $549,650 to $1,038,100 for In-line End Caps with Drive Thru; and $705,650 to $1,396,100 for Free-Standing Restaurants with Drive Thru. Costs will vary depending on location, size, local economic conditions and other factors. You can expect to include materials, equipment, real estate costs, and other expenses related to opening a business.

Your initial franchise fee is $20,000 and throughout the life of your business, you’ll pay several fees each month, including an advertising fee (5%), along with a royalty (6%).
